Our Guard dogs usually work in teams of 2 and patrol their assigned areas.
- At no time do your employees come into contact with the guard dog.
- Signs warning potential trespassers of guard dogs will be posted. Fencing will be checked daily to prevent unnecessary incidents.
- There are no minimum hour requirements.
- We have very competitive rates.
- Short and long term security contracts are available.
- Guard dogs are dependable and become territorial of their posts. Unlike security guards, they do not call in sick or sleep on the job. Guard dogs are equal opportunity protectors and attackers.
K-9 Guard on static block-post
The motionless block-post provides protection to small points of entry(a gate, doors, windows, narrow passage, a corridor, etc.) against intrusion by unauthorized persons. It provides an effective guard zone up to 5 meters. The dog works within a set radius, depending on the specific location of a column or chain attached to wall. A wooden canopy, tent or shelter can be established around the post.
K-9 Guard on the mobile block-post
The mobile block-post provides protection of larger territories and facilities, preventing trespassing by offenders, through a corridor controllable by a dog. The mobile block-post is established along perimeters, fences or buildings with a number of exposed windows and/or doors. The recommended length of the guard post is up to 80 m. The mobile post (block-post) consists of two columns with relays and a tension cable running between them. A tether slides freely across the length of cable and affords the canine a 5-6 meter range of motion to either side of the posts. A tent or shelter is established towards the middle of the guarded length.
The dog is kept on post during nights and the client's non-working hours.
Free-roam K-9 Guard
Free-roam guard dog work refers to work without chain or block-post, indoors or within a fenced territory. Free guard of territories can be carried out in two variants: in specially equipped perimeter corridors or by free roam on a site or property.
a) Territorial Free Guard
Guard by free roam on a site is best suited to small, fenced territories such aswarehouse or industrial facilities, parkings, etc.
b) Free guard in corridors is carried out along the perimeter of sites. The dog(s) are enclosed withing blocks of mesh fencing, forming a corridor approximately 3-4 meters wide, with a height of 2-2.5m. A gate, secured by a lock on the interior fence, is used to admit the guard dog to its post. The corridor length of a single dogs post should not exceed 80-100 meters. In the center of a post, a shelter is established.
c) Facilities Free Guard Free guard of trading, warehouse and industrial structures is carried out by dogs that are kept indoors or in open territories with reliable fences. Dogs are kept on post during nights and a client's off-hours.
